Kate Timney’s work explores the impact that experiences of nature and wilderness can have on consciousness. Writings by the American Transcendentalists and notions of ‘the sublime’ drive the creation of works which investigate scale and sensation. 

 

During the AiRborne residency at Art Park, Kate has considered these themes in the context of parkland and spaces which are protected for the purposes of enjoyment and conservation."
